Ameridian Specialty
Services, Inc. Welcomes
Blake Shelton Live in Concert
A Special solo acoustic
performanceSunday January
18th 7:00PM at the Aronoff Theater
Blake Shelton Multi-platinum selling Warner
Bros. recording artist Blake Shelton released his fifth studio album on
Nov. 18, 2008, Startin’ Fires and his current chart climbing single is
“She Wouldn’t Be Gone.” As an artist, Shelton has shown steady growth
and momentum since his impressive 2001 debut, which earned him the title
of Radio & Records magazine’s breakthrough country artist that year and
multiple CMA and ACM Award nominations followed. His hits run the gamut
from the sweet sentiments of his six-week #1 debut single, “Austin,” and
two additional multi-week #1 singles with “The Baby,” “Some Beach” and
“Home.” Shelton has had multiple #1 videos, including “Ol’ Red,” “Heavy
Liftin’,” “Some Beach,” “Goodbye Time,” “Nobody But Me,” “Don’t Make
Me,” “The More I Drink” and “Home.”
This is a
special opportunity to see Blake unplugged.

Opening for Blake will be
Linda Davis and
Bill Whyte.
A dedicated career woman, consummate entertainer, inspirational
motivator, and devoted wife and mother are just a few ways to describe
Grammy winning singer/songwriter Linda Davis. In 1993, she won
the Grammy Award for Best Country Vocal Collaboration for her duet of
“Does He Love You” with Reba McEntire. Kenny Rogers, a long-time friend
and fan proclaims, “In this business, there are people who can sing and
there are singers. Linda Davis is absolutely one of the best singers in
the business. I defy you to find anyone who’s ever worked with her or
heard her sing to disagree with that statement. She is the best.”
Bill Whyte has gone from a budding singer-songwriter to
celebrated country DJ and now is finding a new niche he wasn't sure he
had as a novelty tune/comedy performer. For Whyte, radio has been his
career, but songwriting seems to be his life. He started playing guitar
at age 16 and got a radio job at 18. Bill has always kept up his
contacts with the Nashville songwriting scene and has collaborated with
some big-name writers and artists. After leaving his morning show in
July, Bill is ready for new adventures including more songwriting and
lots of live performances.
This is a benefit concert with
